‘Echoes of a Distant Time Part Two’
On Saturday, May 29, 2027, the Laurenskerk in Rotterdam will once again transform into a monumental soundscape. After the successful first series of Echoes Of A Distant Time concerts, the band returns to Rotterdam together with the Fletcher Memorial String Quartet. An adapted playlist and a new show will once again surprise and enchant the visitors.
Mister Pink
The band Mister Pink originated from the creative brain of Peter Chattelin, best known as a founder, musician and driving force behind Pink Project The Band for more than a quarter of a century. With this band he initiated legendary performances, including a sold-out Ahoy several times. With Mister Pink A Tribute To Pink Floyd & Roger Waters, he once again sets new standards and is a sequel and further refinement to the previous one. The locations have been carefully chosen and perfectly match the theme of the tour: history, mysticism and musical craftsmanship.
Fletcher Memorial String Quartet
For this tour, Mister Pink will be assisted by the Fletcher Memorial String Quartet. This young and virtuoso quartet adds a special, sometimes dramatic dimension to the music. During the concert, there will be an alternation between intimate arrangements with strings and more powerful, electric performances.
Echoes Of A Distant Time Tour
The tour title is a direct reference to the epic Pink Floyd song ‘Echoes’, which is of course fully on the program. But the title also reflects the choice of concert venues with a “distant echo” – places where past, architecture and music merge into a unique experience that will resonate with visitors for a long time to come.
