Candlelight is known for bringing classical music performances outside of traditional music halls and concert halls, to unique and accessible venues that are part of the city’s cultural life. In this way, Fever wants to lower the threshold for classical music and thus promote cultural exchange and activities. The Laurenskerk, as one of the oldest buildings in Rotterdam and its long-standing position as a meeting place for cultural exchange and inspiration, therefore fits perfectly with Candlelight’s mission.
