As part of the ICAF city program, Town Anywhere invites Rotterdammers to build a city of the future together. Not a model behind glass, but a place where you actively participate. You travel to the year 2035, as it were, and think along about questions such as: how do we want to live? How do we take care of each other? What does the neighborhood need? And how do we give nature a place in the city?

Together with dozens of other participants, you will work on a large, interactive installation. You join the conversation, draw, build, join conversations and share your ideas. About healthcare, education, governance and public space. Everything that makes a city a place where people feel at home.

At a time when the future sometimes feels overwhelming, Town Anywhere offers something different: think together, act together and practice together. The project shows that change does not start with big plans, but with people who use their imagination and dare to take responsibility for the city in which they live.

You don’t have to be an expert. Just curious. Town Anywhere is an invitation to help build, dream and give direction to the future together.
