For the 5th year in a row, about 300 people will walk along during the Social City Walk. Newcomers and other Rotterdammers explore the city, practice Dutch and meet each other for coffee and something sweet in the Laurenskerk. The walk is about 5 kilometers and can be started from the Central Library, Fenix, TopTaal and Tramhuis.

Zorgzaam010 is the online volunteer platform of Rotterdam. The platform is often visited by anyone who wants to make a difference or could use voluntary help themselves. An errand for the neighbor with a broken leg, volunteering at a social organization in the neighborhood or writing a Christmas card for lonely elderly people: you will always find something that suits you in the 885 current doing good activities and requests for help.

Walking & Talking Foundation
Since 2019, the Walking & Talking Foundation has been organising weekly language walks in Rotterdam. These are walks where second language learners meet each other and Dutch-speaking fellow citizens. Language learners practice the Dutch language in an accessible and pleasant way, while expanding their network and getting to know the city. Every week there are free walks in Rotterdam Centre, Rotterdam South and Rotterdam West.
