This special evening heralds a week full of music, inspiration and connection in the heart of Rotterdam.

Let yourself be taken into a unique experience in which urban and gospel come together like you have never experienced it before – from church to club, with soulful sounds, powerful beats, live artists and above all a lot of fun. The monumental atmosphere and special acoustics of the Laurenskerk reinforce this energy.

During this opening, National and International artists, together with young talent from Rotterdam, will bring a dynamic musical program in which music, rhythm and community are central.

With performances by Winne, ADEM Project, Moze Naél, among others, accompanied by a live band, led by Quincy Adolphin!

Winne is a rapper from Rotterdam and one of the most influential artists within the Dutch rap scene. He broke through with tracks like Top 3 MC and Pomp Die Shit and became a fixture in hip-hop. With multiple successful releases and collaborations to his name, Winne has developed into an artist known for his strong lyrics, personal stories and recognizable sound. His recent album Mssyeh, a tribute to his late friend Feis, once again shows the depth and power of his music. Winne is known for his energetic and sincere live performances, in which music and experience come together. An artist you don’t just hear, but feel.

ADEM Project is a Dutch collective of musicians, singers and songwriters that focuses on making honest and innovative worship music for this generation. Out of a desire to reach people who do not yet know Jesus, they create music that touches, connects and invites. With Dutch lyrics that are honest, personal and close, ADEM Project brings a unique mix of worship, soul and pop. Their music deals with themes such as faith, hope and identity, and appeals to a wide audience inside and outside the church. With contributions from Filemon Peroti, Pearl Jozefzoon, William Wixley, Abigail Martina and Christiana Bohorquez, among others, ADEM Project is known for their sincere sound and powerful live moments. A collective that not only makes music, but creates space for meeting, experiencing and connecting.

Moze Naél is a Rotterdam poet, spoken word artist and musician who moves between language, music and performance. In his work, he explores the space between nostalgia and melancholy, where words, sounds and emotions come together in an intense and layered whole. With a voice that can be both soft and sharp, Moze Naél takes his audience into stories that go deep under the skin. His lyrics arise from personal experiences, memories and observations, and always look for the human layer behind everything that is said. Over the years, he has collaborated with composer Winterdagen and various makers from the world of music, dance and visual arts. His work is at the intersection of spoken word, poetry and music, and is constantly in motion. Moze Naél does not create a fixed form, but a world in which language becomes tangible and in which the listener is invited to stand still, listen and feel.

Whether you come for the music or the experience: 3:16 Urban Gospel Festival invites young and old to meet, sing along and experience together!

Hyperorgel

Hyperorgel Rotterdam

In het koor van de Laurenskerk bouwen we een pijporgel van de toekomst, dat digitaal te bespelen is: een ‘hyperorgel’. Zo wordt het orgel toegankelijker voor een brede groep musici.
