Codarts Classical Music – saxophone ensemble

The Codarts saxophone ensemble cordially invites you to an atmospheric winter concert full of timbre, energy and warmth. Under the direction of Femke IJstra, the ensemble will perform a varied program with music by grandmasters J.S. Bach, Antonín Dvořák and Edward Grieg – timeless melodies in a surprising jacket for saxophone ensemble. In addition to these classic gems, the magic of the holidays can also be heard: well-known Christmas carols in sparkling arrangements, which already put the audience in a winter mood.

This ensemble, consisting of talented students from Codarts Rotterdam, has a varied repertoire that includes different styles and genres. Their ability to create diverse timbres and atmospheres makes every concert a unique experience.
