For the young adults of Rotterdam: what if a Friday night out meant turning inward?

On July 10, the doors of the Laurenskerk will open for something the city has not seen before. SPARK Clubnight is not a typical night out. It is specially designed for a younger generation (18-28) who want to turn inwards – a multi-sensory evening that combines timeless traditions with contemporary sounds, art and movement.

In a world that constantly pulls us outside, SPARK creates space to look at life from the inside. Offline. Together. The new way of going out, by going in.

IMAGINAL CELLS is the youth movement behind this initiative that guides young people from their heads to their hearts. What makes SPARK unique is that it is not a solo self-care, not an individual quest. It is facilitated as a collective movement inwards, carried by the group and guided from start to finish.

The evening moves through different layers: reconnecting with yourself, being open to nature and cosmos, and learning from young visionaries who turn imagination into action. The concept is simple but radical: to wake up what’s already inside of you. What starts as something individual opens up to something shared.

You go home with a fresh perspective, new energy, and perhaps the spark of an idea.
