Manuel Tomadin is one of the leading interpreters of Renaissance and Baroque music on period keyboard instruments.
Manuel Tomadin is an Italian organist and harpsichordist, specializing in Renaissance and Baroque music. He studied piano, organ, composition and harpsichord, and continued his education at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis with Jean-Claude Zehnder and Andrea Marcon, among others. He performs intensively in Italy and Europe, works with the ensemble Terg Antiqua on period instruments and has recorded numerous award-winning CDs, including several world premieres. Tomadin has won several national and international organ prizes, including the Grand Prix d’ECHO 2011.
He teaches organ and basso continuo at the Conservatory “G. Tartini” in Trieste and is organist of the Lutheran Church there. Manuel is also artistic director of the Johann Sebastian Bach Orgelherbst in Trieste and chairman of the organ concert in Valvasone.
