Since 1923, the Rotterdam Opera Choir has guaranteed musical class, emotion and grand opera experience. For more than a century, the choir has been able to touch audiences with beautiful concerts, performed in front of well-filled halls and carried by pure passion for opera music.

Today, the choir consists of about 70 enthusiastic singers, united by their love of bel canto; choral pieces and arias that touch the heart directly. This style of music is visibly gaining popularity and appeals to more and more different generations. It is not for nothing that the Rotterdam Opera Choir was proud to welcome a number of new members in 2025 – young and older, all equally driven. Under the inspiring leadership of conductor Annelies Prins and with the virtuoso accompaniment of Mark van Nispen at the grand piano, the choir is at a high artistic level.
