The Laurenscantorij leaves for England in the summer to be choir in residence at Westminster Abbey. The vocal richness of the English choral tradition is something to write home about and that is why the cantorij Rotterdam is also benefiting. Part of the repertoire that is taken with them on the trip is performed by the Laurenscantorij at its home base, the Laurenskerk.

In het koor van de Laurenskerk bouwen we een pijporgel van de toekomst, dat digitaal te bespelen is: een ‘hyperorgel’. Zo wordt het orgel toegankelijker voor een brede groep musici.
